kinder fun

recently i was lucky enough to be asked by the talented photographer Kym Addison to help design new kindergarten booklets for her. we found that there was a real gap in the market of cute booklets for children's kinder photos to be displayed. Kym at Kinder Pics, had suggested an australian theme as (no offense) everything was american based. so this is what i did for her. we were very happy with the out come. please note: the pictures of children are just samples from google search.

what a hoot

i have been working on these owls for some time now, and i am falling more in love with them the more i play around with them. i think it must be the colours... and their funny little faces... im not sure. 

this week has seemed to fly and apart from my wedding post (weeeee so exciting) i havnt been very entertaining have i?

as i mentioned in an earlier post. my darling husband took me away for a surprise (early valentines day) weekend. it was so fun. we ended up going camping in wye river, down the coast and great ocean road. it was so fun. it rained a bit, but to lay in a tent listening to drops of rain is bliss. we ate so much beautiful food and laughed a lot. the ducks kept us company and the sound of the waves was so relaxing. it really was a lovely weekend. sad to be back really x

instagram

crazy week again peeps, so sorry for the lack of attention to my blog. alot of my energy has been taken up by instagram, its called an addiction i think! addicted as alot of people may be...that top foxy was a very keen, very alive, very healthy sneak i met about 3 years ago. not afraid to eat food right out of my hand. that bottom foxy is not so alive, but still beautiful... poor ol thing. please note: i DO realize that being able to use instagram does not make me a photographer...just so we're clear! hehe

life in rewind

well well well... where the hell have i been??? not sure, busy... very busy! stuck in a foxtel IQ set box, fast forwarding and rewinding live tv... aka my life.

anyway enough of that, and i dont want this post to be one of those that start with "i havnt blogged for so long" bla bla.

today is my wonderful mums birthday. so i decided to search through the piles of old albums, yellow tinged and corners curled.

i stubbled across possibly the best photos iv ever seen, and found myself neck deep in bronze spiral bound albums. just when i thought they couldnt get any better i found an album of my mum and dad on a road trip when they were young. bingo!

very impressed mum and dad...very very impressed. (maybe not dads hair though ahaha)

my talented sister

i have admired my sisters..( well sister in laws) photography work for some time. most of her work is spare of the moment & with not much thought. just love.

she just has it.

her main subject is my beautiful niece...(the one i did that alphabet print for).

they are both very special to me... i love them dearly.
