making me happy

it comes the time of the year again where the hot summer days are getting less often and when we start to think about open fires and cuddly scarves. 
just as I was starting to feel a little miserable that the wooly socks were making a come back I thought I would take a look back at the patterns and work I have done that have made me happy and feel bright.

i am thinking of making a look book of my patterns and prints (just for myself). All different and not necessarily matching. Just the ones that I felt good designing too... none that had me tilting my head back and forth countless times.

so heres a snippit snap shot.

75 cents

i have been really loving old labels and vintage imagery of late. my newest range I designed for kaisercraft, called 75 cents was able to really explore that. to be honest its nearly one of my favourite to date. I think its the colours, I am usually such a yellow person, but these blues and greens with the burnt cream and cardboard really got me. although i left kaiser 6 months ago (oooh my gosh, i never actually counted how long its been) i still freelance for them and its unreal... i think i honestly have the best job when it comes to it- designing pretty papers, like pieces of little artworks. i love it.

im your secret admirer

just wanted to be quick and also share with you my latest kaisercraft range called secret admirer. just in time for valentines day. loved creating this range and is one of my favorites to date. i would be keen to hear your thoughts. as you can see, this is quite a different style that i have for kaisercraft, to my own work, would you like to see more of this in victor fox's work? cards/ prints etc?

turtle dove

hi everyone, gee ive done it again hey! ive abandoned this blog. I really am sorry and I hate it when i dont get time to stay in touch. so things have been super busy for me and victor fox, as some of you may know, I have gone out on my own now, into the big wide world of working for yourself. i must say though, how great it is... there is the occasion when i find myself procrastinating and wasting time, but oh how wonderful it is to be doing my own stuff. i wanted to kick off the festive season and the start to many more christmas posts. just giving you the head up- i looovvveee christmas. absolutely cant get enough! love the decorating, the present wrapping and giving, the tree, the food, the christmas carols.. all of it.

here is one of the ranges that i designed whilst still at kaisercraft. a vintage christmas range, which was quite fun, lots of research for beautiful old imagery and christmas bits and bobs. i hope you like it. it can be found here. 

save the date

hi all, hope you had a great weekend. i wanted to share with you the newest release for kaiscraft that i designed. this one is called save the date.

a fun party/ celebratory range but witha slight vintage edge. i absolutely loved designing this one. with my favourite colour yellow making a large appearance and lots of hand drawn elements.

hi a quick one for me tonight, as im sooo tired. just wanted to share with you the work i have been doing for kaisercraft. this is my latest range called check in. its a travel range with a slightly vintage feel. i really enjoyed designing this range. i tried to sneak in as much yellow as possible as its my favourite colour. you can see it all here. i hope your week is going well.
